So yesterday was Easter, and I felt like a departure from the norm was needed since my life has been fairly dull lately. So, I decided to be a zombie for a bit. I won't post the pics here since I haven't developed mine yet and I don't want to steal anyone elses..but they're out there. Just google "Boston Zombie Outbreak 09".

While I thought it would be cool to share about that whole experience, and it was quite the experience. I need to get something off my chest and hopefully get some feedback here. So please, if you don't mind, I'd like to hear peoples feelings on this subject.

Our little parade(of about 200 zombies) managed to get attention from the Local media, including The Boston Globe. Well in the comments section of the article posted on the Globe, there were some pretty hateful messages. Now, I can only speak for myself and I know my friends felt the same about it, so them too; but we had no motives in this walk other than to dress up like zombies, get some exercise, and have fun. We were not protesting Christianity, we were not mocking Jesus Christ(although I do see how the connection could be made). People were going nuts about this though, going so far as to call it un-american, accusing the entire crowd of being homosexual, calling it immoral...

So what do you think? I'm asking for honest opinions here. I'm a very open minded person, and I'd like to get a general consensus on this.
